This is a great story for children who are afraid to go to school. This story is about a raccoon that is ready to start school. The raccoon has lots of fears about starting school. The raccoon’s mother comes up with a great solution for her little raccoon to think of her during the day.
Julie Elliott says this is a great book for children that are having fears about leaving their mother on the first day of school. She read it to her own children and still continues to do so at the beginning of the school year when her children are showing fear of leaving her.
